Cub Scout Pack 997 was formed in 2005 and is chartered by the Kiwanis Club of Maricopa, AZ. 
Cub Scouting combines outdoor activities, sports, academics and more in a fun and exciting program that helps families teach the ideals of scouting such as honesty, good citizenship, and respect.
The Boy Scouts of America is composed of more than 1.3 million volunteers with the sole purpose of helping serving its' more than 3.7 million youth succeed in life.
